Good food! Loved it. My only problem was the service.The server tho was very hard to talk to. a lot of our orders were missing and we tried communicating with her but its all so messy (i would suspect that its language barrier since she’s indian) but shes kind of course its just a bit frustrating when at the and we couldnt get what we ordered (some side dishes) but still paid for it.
Had an amazing meal with my family on the first day of 2025! Special compliments to Alvis, Logez, Jason and team for their exceptional service, attentiveness, jovial personality, always putting on a smile and would check-in to make sure everything was to satisfaction. It is after all New Year and the restaurant was full of customers. Would definitely be back!

Tried their food the first time at nex, ordered their signature beef set with pork and seafood ala carte to share. Ingredients are very fresh, I especially like their beef tongue, crunchy and not too tough like some other brand. My daughter loves their food as well! Will eat there again!

I’m very pleased with the service of aunty shamini and dewi. Despite the tiring situation, they served everyone cheerfully and attended to everyone’s need efficiently. My family and I felt so welcomed and loved in such atmosphere. So happy today! Thank you so much for the wonderful service!!
Do not come when peak hour. There are 5 staffs ..yet no one serve me my ordered drinks. They finally served my drink after 5th time i asked. When food come after 20min waiting, they missed out1 item, I told 2 staffs on separate times, still no arrived. =(

Not sure why nobody really mention this but the fire here is a bit crazy. At minimum heat the fire can still reach the height of your face and actually near your face. It’s quite frightening picking up the meat everytime.

Our 1st time here and we are satisfied with the overall service, food quality and experience here. I usually avoid Yakiniku because of the smoke but the place had sufficient ventilation and minimal smoke while grilling. Free refill for the ocha tea without having to remind the service staff who were attentive and courteous. 👍My wife had the Yakiniku-GO set : beef oyster blade steak, beef tongue, and beef short plate. I got the Value Treat set which included pork belly, chicken and beef short plate. All tasted fresh, tender and sufficient melt in the mouth meaty fatty goodness.Personally my favorites were the pork belly and beef short plate.
Fantastic service by Dewi and Alvis even though the restaurant was crowded. They were cheerful servers too and not let the busyness overwhelm them.

service here is so bad. there queue was handled by this lady called shamini and she gave us 2 separate tables for 4 pax which are so far away. a table cleared up the moment we sat and we asked to change there, but she said she already set our number at our table. then the tables went to another table of 4, even though we came first. huh? why can’t she change our table number? and she keeps saying that she needs larger tables for more than 2 pax, as if we aren’t a group of 4?please fire her she is so unhelpful and unfriendly lol. the queue management is so poor
This is my second visit for yakiniku, and once again, the experience was wonderful! Shamini, our waitress, was especially warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

Always enjoy our dining there as the staff are so friendly and welcoming., especially aunt Shamini always greeted us with her broad smile. The foods are nice, even their side dishes and soup also very nice. Noticed that the chicken is served in different ‘cutting’ recently and I personally prefer the latest ‘style’ cos more tasty. Went today during their 10.10 promo, very crowded but staff still friendly and patiently answered the enquiry n control the crowd well.
today was a very busy and chaotic day here. however, the service shamini provided was excellent. she was very kind and still very helpful. it made our dining experience so much better. despite the long wait, she still offered great care to the diners. she also went around providing refreshments to those waiting as there was a crowd

I am a regular at this outlet, and the service has always been consistently good. The staff are attentive and friendly, especially Shamini, Logez, Alvis and another uncle whose name I didn’t catch. They are always cheerful and helpful, even when the restaurant is full and busy. It’s clear they care about making sure every customer has a great experience. The warm atmosphere and excellent service keep me coming back. Highly recommended!

This place is always full and they seems to be understaffed. But their service is still always so good! Especially Shamini. Always so friendly and professional in her service.
Went to dine in around 8+ and queue for 20mins until I'm being seated,ordered a pork set and an add on of an additional rice and mushroom on the side. I had to wait 15mins just for my add on rice and mushroom, which is ridiculous. Ice ocha is not frequently top up unless we raise our hand for it. Proceed for payment at the cashier, yet the cashier guy I assumed is the manager didn't even care to say any gratitude/ thank you.

this is the first time we patronised this outlet in NEX, we stay in the west so usually hit down to JEM and JP but this is going to be my most favourite outlet for yakiniku go! Firstly, it's lively, restaurant feels clean. We received service from a very nice staff, Ms Dewi, she warmly welcomed us and guided us on how to redeem our vouchers and really patient throughout the whole process. keep up the wonderful positive service attitude 🥳🥳🥳💯💯💯, it's rare these days! good food taste even better with good service! 🥰🥰🥰
Asked for a table, service person ask to wait, while printing a QR code, brought to table, and service person walk away with the QR code. When asked, told me it’s not the right code. Waited again for the new QR code to come.Ordered food, waited 20 min, food didn’t come. They don’t even need to cook. The food comes table by table, every 5 min. Another service person ask me if she can help, went to kitchen, came out and tell me they do it order by order. Walked out after 25 min without my food. Should rename to yakiniku wait.Lousy service, the meal would have costed me 90 for 3 pax, went other places with faster, better service and cost me less.

Special mention to Amber Chong who brought the idea of service in FnB up by notches. Not only was she waitering but was also helping me cook my food and patiently explaining the amount of time needed for each type of meat. Although I cant cook and was dining at such a place alone, I was dining with confidence and enjoyment in her presence!!
Came here for lunch on a weekday and it was not crowded. Took some 15 mins for food to be served after ordering. The beef and chicken combo was nice with the sides.
resto was very crowded, went on 24/5 dinner time friday at around 7:30pm time so expected the crowd, me and my friends were 3pax and therefore the wait was quite a while, the food was good and filling, but something that caught our attention is a staff name maria, she was very pleasant and unforgettable, she recommended us multiple seats and solutions to accommodate us better, at first it seemed like just normal f&b service, but maria was very attentive to our needs and other customer’s needs, she had her way of talking to the diners and was bubbly even at a dinner rush period and was very hospitable towards us and other diners, which is a great job to the staff!
My salmon was undercooked! The salmon skin is still slimy. Totally unacceptable!
Terrible. Paid $30 just to eat charcoals. Meats always got stuck to the metal mesh. The heat also cannot control. Already controlled within 1 and 2, still can see fire 🔥. My meats are always on fire lol. I should have gone Yakiniku Like instead. Can't even put pepper salts and sauces here.

Had a wonderful dinner. Team of staff exceptional. Good team spirit and efficient. They are attentive and work with one another very well to clear tables and ensure tables are speck clean for next customer. A long queue at outlet but they are all cheerful and polite. 🌟 service
The quality of meat/food served and service rendered is difficult to mention it is value for money - it is not.Food portion is for average or small eaters, for big eaters you will be dissapointed.Restaurant is located at Level B1, inside "Japan Street".I wld say give it a miss. Not worth spending the money.

I thought the standard dropped only to realise its a different restaurant from yakiniku like in paya lebar. In comparison, the meat is thinner here and theres some hardened rice that spoils the experience. Even the rice in yakiniku like is better, plus they have the option to add seaweed and egg in the rice.
I would like to complement your staff Mr Lam Chiam Seng .He is Hardworking and efficient :Clean each table when ever customer leave with no time wasteHe Attentive : always watching out for customer and ready to serve want customer wave at him.He is hardworking :I requested to replace the chared grill 3x and each time he come to replace it fast with a smile and politely said ‘enjoy you meal’.Mr Lam deserve to be complemented.Yes We did enjoy our meal.

For the price paid, I think this restaurant is really decent - though not necessarily the most filling. The meat is served with some marinade and some sauces (really tasty by the way! Especially the yellow citrusy one), which is the main source of flavour. Some alcohol options are available, though it is quite expensive.Place is comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed our time here! Not much opportunity for service to shine, especially since you order through a QR code, and they do not serve plain water.

This outlet is one of the busiest especially during peak hours. Food just as good as all their other outlets. The waiters try their best!
